This coastal speysider, known for its important role in blended whiskies, spent 2 years of secondary maturation in 2 ex-oloroso sherry hogsheads from the Hidalgo bodega in Spain. These casks offer a very smooth influence on the spirit, dominated by sherry flavors rather than oak. All this combines with notes of creme caramel, chocolate, orange and stroopwafels.

On the palate dried fruit, creme caramel, star anise, stroopwafels and chocolate orange.
